ICOM is partnering with the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme – which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2012 – for International Museum Day 2013.

On this occasion, UNESCO and ICOM will be delighted to offer 1 copy of the Memory of the World book to the first 12 museums that send us their IMD 2013 programme in Africa!

ICOM and the Memory of the World, which is dedicated to preserving world documentary heritage, share a common vision of safeguarding heritage for the benefit of society and a belief that digitization of important documents can facilitate access to their content.
